GAA with a Twist
On the 14th of December our TY year along side 1st,2nd,3rd and 5th years preformed our TY production called "GAA with a Twist". We were rehearsing for almost two months so our show could be perfect. It was a lot of hard work trying to make sure everything and everyone was in the right place at the right time. As a year we tried our very best to make sure we preformed the best productions done in the school even though we did not do a musical type production. At the start of the year we did not know what we were going to do. It started off that we were going to do a talent show, then a variety show, then nothing at all. The inspiration came from the victory of the Galway minor and senior hurling teams winning the All-Ireland after 29 years. It was then decided that it would be a GAA themed show titled "GAA with a Twist" .

Our music teacher, Ms. Coyle was the musical director of the show. She composed the whole arrangement of music from old Irish traditional music to grease lightning. We had to learn how to dance in the grease part of the show which was a lot of fun. Angela Dediek choreographed all the dances and helped us learn them.
I played one of the main parts in Grease as Jan. my character was one of the pink ladies and also Frenchie's and Sandy's best friend.
One of the final scenes was Grease, where all our year got to dance in it. We got to dance to the iconic "hand-jive" and "we go together". I found this very fun and one of the
